A wonderful man with a heart of gold, yes he was the old man in the sea. I always remember he loved to fish and try to make me eat his fish, he will be missed! I hope he will see Julie I miss her, she was like a mother to me.

On December 2, 2013, Calvin Rosen, World War II veteran; beloved husband of the late Julia Rosen (nee Wolf); devoted father of Alan Richard and Susan Rosen, David Marc and Paula Rosen, and Edmond Howard Rosen; dear brother of Harold and Iris Rosen, Sylvia Sushman, Irene and Marvin Kasik, and the late Sidney Rosen and Simon Rosen; cherished grandfather of Elisa Faye and Michael LaMara and Michael Phillip Rosen; adored great grandfather of Bella Gia LaMara and Juliana Nicole LaMara; companion of Bernice Gordon.

Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Wednesday, December 4, at 1 pm. Interment Beth El Memorial Park - Randallstown.
