I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
Bob could not have been a nicer, friendlier face to see whenever I went to the Associated. He ALWAYS asked how my wife and kids were and always had a smile for everyone who walked through the door. I was very saddened to hear about his passing. It is a loss for our entire community.

My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time and may his memory be a blessing for you all.

Diener Family,
Bob was more than the man at the front desk, he was a beloved Associated family member. Bob was our meteorologist, traffic controller and postal carrier. Bob knew our families and, it's safe to say, the face and name of almost everyone who cross the Krieger Building threshold. Bob made it his business to know you and to always have something to share that was tailored to each individual. I know how much I will miss him but it's nothing compared to how much the Associated family and community will miss him. We'll always love Bobby. Praying for your strength,

Dear Matthew, Megan, and Jenna,
I love your Mom, she knows how I feel, so this message is for the three of you. I would like to tell each of you some things I’ve learned from experience and some things I truly believe in my heart. God puts certain people in our lives for a reason. Your mom and I understand each other. When I met your mom, I didn’t know at the time I was going to have the privilege of meeting another wonderful person who had his own special gifts. Yes, your dad was the most kind, gentle, and compassionate man I’ve ever met. The world would be a better place if more people were just like him. I know this world is not fair. I’m sure the three of you are feeling cheated, feeling your world is falling apart, and that life is never going to be the same. Your right, it is never going to be the same, it will be different. I can only share some things with the three of you that I hope will make a difference. Understand that everyone needs time to grieve the loss of a loved one. Eventually, in your own time the greatest honor to your father would be to get back to living life and most importantly being happy. I do believe in my heart that we go to a much better place (heaven) where there is no sickness or pain. I know that our love ones are watching over us. I also believe in my heart of hearts that we will see them again! I see your father’s gentle spirit and your mother’s strength in each of you. I know the journey ahead will not be easy, but I believe the three of you will be ok. Please remember that the “Goldstein” clan are only a phone call away if you need us.
p.s. RIP Bob

Dear Diener family, I am sad for all of you. Bob was a very special man. I will miss him every visit to the Associated. I will miss his warm and enthusiastic greeting, his sincere interest in me and my family, his pride of your family's latest accomplishments (which he shared if asked). Every organization has a front desk person. Very few have a Bob.

I share Sharon's thoughts. I can't imagine going to Associated without Bob greeting me. He was the friendly face of the organization, and all our guests remarked on how warm and kind he was. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he always seemed to be in a good mood. I know he must have been suffering the last weeks, but you would have never known it. We will all miss him greatly!

I will miss my friend.
