Such a dear classmate at Northwood High School, Class of '71. I remember Lisa so well at Glen Haven and also at Sligo Jr. High. She also attended all of our class reunions in which we will miss her dearly. Our condolences to her family.

Lisa Black and I shared an aunt (Fannie Pruitt). We became friends during the time Lisa was her Advocate at the Assistant Livng center where Fannis was a patient for many years. I was always impressed with her heart-felt devotion to our Aunt.. She was a wonderful , caring woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Someone who was always a pleasure to spend time with. I know she suffered the past few years but whenever I saw her she had a smile on her face. I will pray for her lovely family. Lisa will be missed.

Rob, Robin and Scott,
I can't begin to tell you the sadness I feel from the loss of Lisa. She fought an amazing fight and never gave in to this dreadful disease. During the many conversations she and I had during this time she always mentioned that she wanted to be sure that Leah, Jacob and Sydney remembered her. I know that you will share all the wonderful memories you have of her with them and that those memories will also sustain you during this time.
I also have wonderful memories of working with Lisa and the times after we worked together. She will be sorely missed but always loved.

Rob, Robin, and Scott,
I was so sorry to hear this news. Lisa fought a brave battle with determination and a positive attitude. I have such fond memories of our years of working together. I am so glad I got to see her a few weeks ago and we had some good laughs reminiscing. As always, she talked about her family and especially her grandchildren that she adored. Warm condolences to all of you on this profound loss.

Lisa was our "rock" and Captain for many of our tennis teams in Columbia. Many of us have known her since our kids were in the nursery at the Athletic Club and we were attending her daughter's car washes for Wilde Lake at the Dorsey Search Village Center. We were looking forward to seeing her captain again this Spring for another USTA season and we are so shocked and saddened that she is gone. She battled hard with her cancer and we loved her full head of natural gray hair last season. Her tennis buddies will really miss her.

Rob, Robin, & Scott-
I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Lisa. Your family has been close neighbors to mine for over 30 years, and I will never forget Lisa's warmth, kindness, and positivity. She opened her home to our family many times over the years with her generosity and I am forever grateful. My parents said no matter how incredibly hard times have been these past few years, Lisa always had a smile on her face and a bright outlook on life. I'll always remember Lisa and how much she adored your family. You are all in my thoughts.

Our condolences to Lisa's family: husband Rob; daughter Robin, son-in-law Jonathan, granddaughter Leah, grandson Jacob; son Scott, daughter-in-law Lauren, granddaughter Sydney. We had the honor of visiting with Lisa in Orlando on 5 January 2018 at a mini family reunion during Disney Marathon weekend. Several of Lisa's friends and family members (including our son Jonathan) ran the Disney Marathon in her honor. Lisa was a fighter and bravely battled cancer with a smile on her face all the way to the end. Rest in peace Lisa. You will always be an inspiration to all of us.

It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Lisa the past several years in our dental office. She was a smart and dedicated employee and friend of both Dr. Stuart Blumenthal and subsequently to Dr. Susanne Wallengren. Lisa remained professional, caring and brave during her battle. She cherished her family and lit up whenever she spoke of them. Our condolences for your loss. Lisa will be missed.

I met Lisa when we moved to the Wheaton House apartments in 1963. She had a great smile and she was always fun to be around. When I reconnected with here on FB a few years ago, I teased her that she had somehow forgotten to age. The world will be a lesser place without her.

Rob, Robin and Scott,
I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family. I've known Lisa all my life but it was in the last 15 years that I really came to know her. She was smart, kind, intuitive and one of the funniest people I've ever met. I am so happy that I was able to share so much with this amazing person. I will miss her greatly...I already do.

Lisa Black was instrumental in growing my dental practice. I came to think of her as a dear friend. Dr. Puhl and I speak of her often. She has become a part of our dental family. We are better because of her intelligence, wisdom and humor. She will be missed tremendously.

Lisa was a wonderful friend from the time we were 10 years old. We lost touch over time but I will always remember her smile and joy for life.

Rob, Scott, Robin:
I was so devastated to hear of Lisa's passing - she fought a tremendous fight and it was never easy. I have such fond memories, going back to the day when she interviewed me for a position within her group at LG and we shared some of our "Jewish" memories. I loved working with her but I will also miss the times that we shared outside of work - she was always a shining beacon and had such a positive attitude. She was an absolutely wonderful person and I will miss her tremendously. The one thing that stuck out for me recently was how proud she was of you, Scott and Robin, and her grandchildren. They gave her such "nachas"! A beautiful life wiped out way too early with way too much still left to give. She will be missed - she was one of the "good people".
