My deepest sympathy on the passing of your mom. I have only fond memories of her and your dad from Wild Cherry Road. Even after my parents moved from the area I would come around to visit her and Thelma to catch up, as she so enjoyed hearing about my children. I lost my dad this week as well, so I know what difficult days lie ahead for your family. Knowing that your mom lived a long fulfilled life will comfort your through this time.

Dear Cindy
My heart goes out to you. Your mom was such a wonderful lady living life to the fullest. Although we have not been in touch these last several years, she was a constant in my thoughts. Leta will always be in the hearts of all those she touched.

Dear Cindy- so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I remember her smile when we all lived on Wild Cherry. I share your sorrow as my Dad also died this week. Try to take one day at a time....

We will never forget what a warm and loving friend Leta was to our mother. The two of them were like sisters enjoying life together! And when Thelma took ill, Leta did everything possible to make her feel better. Leta loved to tell jokes and poke fun at herself which usually included stories from her visits to the Beauty Salon. Above all, Leta loved people; and people easily fell in love with her, us included. We send our love and heartffelt sympathy to Cindy, Alan, Lisa and David

To the Baylus Family-
I will always remember the sisterhood that Leta and my Grandma Thelma shared. She had so much warmth and personality packed into her tiny frame. For years after my grandmother died, Leta would call to check in on me and my kids. She and her big heart will be sorely missed.
With my deepest condolences,

Leta Baylus
