Death is, in fact, an extension of life: the manner in which we choose to live our lives will determine the legacy we leave here in this world after our passing.
Our sages say that a righteous person is even more “alive” posthumously than they were while alive. What does this mean? How is it possible?
Clearly, they were not referring to the soul which returns to heaven, or the body which returns to the earth. What they were referring to is the influence and legacy which remains behind, on earth, with the living. This influence becomes magnified and far greater than it was previously.
MY Dear Aunt Elizabeth will be missed very much but her legacy will live on. I have fond memories that I will treasure forever.

To Donna and Irwin and the entire Azman family:. We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Azman's passing. My parents , the late Aaron and Frieda Miller, shopped in their bakery from the day it opened until it's last day in business . After I got married, I also shopped there. We remember all the times the kids helped their parents in the bakery, too. May Mrs. Azman rest in peace and may you be sustained by good memories from the past. Baruch Dayan Haemet

Dear Eva, Tommy, Irwin, and Azman generations,
My deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved mom and bubbie.I remember her very well from the bakery. She was always bustling about and very busy! There is nothing like the loss of a dear parent and, Eva, Tommy and Irwin, I weep with you. Yes, it has been many years since we last saw each other, yet, you have always been in my heart and mind as we share lots of school and non-school history. May HaShem grant you all the strength and support you need to deal with this devastating life blow. It is seeringly deep right now but will scar over, albeit, slowly, and not be so intense, but will never go away. Your memories will become sweet after some time. May you be comforted among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalyim. I think of you always. My heart is with you. Much love.

Eva, Tommy, Irwin, and to the entire Azman family we are very sorry on the loss of your dear mom. Our love , our thoughts are with you at this very hard time. From the very first time I met aunt Elizabeth when I got engaged to her nephew Jacques, I instantly felt her love , excitement, happiness and zest for life pouring over. I will never forget the way she danced at our wedding and her contagious smiles and happiness. After hearing some of her stories and the all she endured during the war , aushwitz, loss of family and more hardships how more so I admired that Ayin tov she had. Even though I was not one of her grandchildren I felt her love , love for all am yisrael ,just as strong. The few times we were fortunate to be with aunt Elizabeth were always very special. She was thrilled to be alive and even more thrilled to be surrounded by family. She always made sure to have chocolate bars on hand for the kids.. always something sweet to leave them with a sweetness happy memory., and we felt aunt Elizabeth's love was always overflowing for myself, my husband and our children. And of course tremendously for my father in law/ her brother Baila or Willy AH.
Aunt Elizabeth I remember and look to you as a role model .. not just for the tremendous aishes Chayil you are but as well for the ahavat Chaim you always emitted.

Dear Drs. Azman - I send you my deep condolences on the loss of your mother (only the flu is keeping me from visiting you in person). I can imagine how much joy and pride you brought her - she raised children who possess deep compassion, unlimited patience and genuine kindness. No mother could ask for more. Hamakom yinakhem...
