I’m a former Park School parent, whose sons Larry(age48) and Jeff(age 44), were fortunate to have had Birdie Hack as their first grade teacher. She was a wonderful, caring and insightful educator.
May her memory always be for a blessing.

Aunt Birdie was the nicest human on the planet. To me at least she was always an island of calm in the midst of chaos. My first grade teacher, hostess of my engagement party and a lifelong role model even if my mother always blamed her cause I couldn’t tie my shoes or tell time.

I am a Park Alumni and was so fortunate to have had Mrs. Hack as my second grade teacher. I remember with great fondness that she was inspiring, kind , and had beautiful handwriting on the blackboard. May her memory be for a blessing.

She was my favorite aunt. When I lived in Baltimore in the sixties, your mom and dad were always there or me. She I'll be greatly missed.

It's been a long time, but Laurie and I remember both your parents as loving and full of positive energy -- as they should be remembered. Our deepest sympathies, Miriam and Megan. We hope you can take comfort in her life well lived.

Joel and I are so sorry for you loss. Birdlie was our daugher's first grade teacher and was a excellent educator and lovely person. You have our feelings of loss but of happiness for her abilities to pass on to our daughter her love for the benefits of education and the joy of reading

Birdie was a very dear colleague of mine at Park. She was a mentor in many ways to this very new and then young teacher. I adored her.
