“I feel appreciated being a source of comfort and a friend to families during a difficult time.”

Adam Turk joined the company in 2011, and as a funeral director he is responsible for providing meaningful funeral services for families from initial contact through the arrangement conference, the funeral service, and throughout the grieving process. Adam also helps implement our ongoing training programs to ensure our funeral directors continue to excel at their jobs.

Adam finds genuine satisfaction in meeting with families and guiding them through a difficult situation, making sure that every question is answered, and every need is met. It is Adam’s keen attention to detail, personable demeanor and thorough understanding of Jewish funeral practices that makes him such a great asset to Sol Levinson & Bros. and the community.

Adam grew up in Pikesville, attended Boys’ Latin School, then studied at Ithaca College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in History. Prior to coming to Levinson’s, Adam enjoyed a career in Project Management, where he was able to develop his skills in providing detail-oriented, exceptional service and multitasking in a fast-paced industry.

Adam is a member of Beth El Congregation. He also served on the board of directors for the Historical Society of Baltimore County, and periodically volunteers to speak to current Mortuary Science students in order to educate them about Jewish funeral customs. Adam and his wife, Erin, have three young children and live in Reisterstown. When not at the funeral home, he enjoys playing games with his children and keeping up with the latest technology.
