“I find satisfaction in being able to help families through a difficult time, especially since I have long-lasting relationships with many families from my upbringing in Pikesville.”

In 2009, Greg King joined Sol Levinson & Bros. as a funeral director, helping families make funeral arrangements and ensuring those arrangements go as desired. Greg is also one of Levinson's Advance Planning Specialists, who guides families in making funeral arrangements ahead of time.

Greg utilizes his profound knowledge of Jewish burial traditions to inform others about the history and meaning behind these customs. He spearheads our bereavement groups and various educational programs, touching upon different types of loss and coping mechanisms to help people work through their grief. Greg has implemented programs with organizations such as Jewish Community Services, the Center for Jewish Education, and area hospices. Greg also maintains the Marjorie Levinson Bereavement Libraries which includes organizing, cataloging, and incorporating it into the Center for Jewish Education's online catalog for anyone in need.

Greg is a Pikesville native whose family has been in Baltimore for five generations. As a graduate of Boston University, Greg attained his degree in education, working as a high school teacher, then he owned  a Baltimore-area vending machine business for several years.

When not at work, Greg has many hobbies such as playing piano, crafting homemade cheeses, farming organic produce, playing tennis and fishing. Greg and his family are members of Chizuk Amuno Congregation and he is active in the Pikesville Schools Coalition. Greg's many interests keep his wife, Rebecca, entertained and provide endless teaching opportunities for his two young daughters.
