Trude was and has been a presence in our lives for the 19 years we have lived in the Arlington----from the time she visited us with a message from Dr. Kranzler that the sukkah I erected in the back lawn (the first in the condo's history) was under too much cover, to the times that she delivered her dish of guacamole for a shabbos or yom tov meal, to her remembering birthdays. An indomitable force, she will be sorely missed by us and by all who knew her.

I’m in NY on my way to Pennsylvania and am so sorry I can’t make it tomorrow. My Mom, brother and I send our deepest condolences. I loved Cousin Trude so much and loved taking her places. It was an honor. My family and I have only fond memories of both of your parents-Uncle Gershon a”h and Cousin Trude a”h.

My heart aches over the loss of Trude,z"l. Trude was one of the kindest people I've known in all the years I've lived in Baltimore. From our first meeting, when I expressed to her that my husband, Judah, z"l, regarded her dear husband, Dr. Gershon Kranzler, z'l, as the best principal he ever had at TA, she insisted that I call her Trude. Always with her beautiful smile and warm greeting, Trude epitomized a true lady with an incredible lev tov. She will be so very missed!

I remember Trude as a kind and gentle and elegant woman. She was a good listener and very compassionate.

To Trude's family,
What an honor to have met Trude, gotten to know her and be able to learn from her beautiful ways. Her neshama should soar and be united again with Rabbi Kranzler. What a special family. We will miss her.

A kind, gentle, intelligent loyal wife and mother, Trude Kranzler, a'h, will be missed in many places. I had the pleasure of occasionally walking with the Kranzlers on Park Heights Avenue. Her husband was a scholar, a social scientist, a master educator and a Prince. They treated each other with enormous respect. They shared superior refinement and intelligence. Their love was genuine. She was a vital part of his professional life. The creativity he brought to Sociology, Jewish education and literature she shared in. Her children reflect their uniqueness as a couple and individuals. They taught by example impressive tolerance and a high standard of commitment to authentic Jewish learning. They were role models of ahavat Yisrael. May her children find comfort in precious memories. Her legacy is inspiring.

My memories of the Kranzlers go back to Devonshire Drive-to the many wonderful times spent there. Your mother A"H was always dignified, yet friendly, and a true helpmate of your father A"H.
It was a happy home. We were out of town last week.

Trude was a loving person. Every time she came over to my parents for a Shabbos meal, she would have a small candy for my daughter. She always had kind words and was an amazing person. May her memory be a blessing.
