Sending my deepest condolences to Margie's family! Margie was a treasure who will not be forgotten. I will miss her smiling face during my weekly visits with my parents at North Oaks. I will also miss our weekly conversations when she always asked about our work at Central Scholarship where she had worked for 36 years from 1952 to 1988. So glad I got to know Margie -- an impressive life, very well lived!

Margie was treasured by all at North Oaks and will be missed. She taught us how to live, participating in everything till the end of her life at the age of 100.exercise groups, video bowling, lectures, candidate forums, and our North Oaks Writing Workshop where she read stories of her life and travels. She was a dear and special friend.

To the Family of Margie,
Margie was a delightful lady. I spent many hours with her at North Oaks with my therapy dog, Cody, whom she enjoyed. We would sit out on the patio every Wednesday and she would tell me stories about her life and her family. Cody and I would listen attentively while we enjoyed the warm summer sun. She will be deeply missed. Steve and Cody

Dear Steve, Neil and families,

We are saddened by Margie's passing, but we are so grateful for the time that she and Sam spent together at North Oaks over the last 18 months. Having known each other for many years, when Sam moved in, they began having dinner together every night and then attending the movies or the concerts in Wilson Hall. They provided each other with companionship and comfort. May she rest in peace and may you always have warm memories of your Mom.

Dear Steve and Neil,
I was saddened to read that your mother passed away. It's been years since I last saw her, but I have very fond memories of the both of you and your parents at the family holiday dinners many years ago. Your parents used to be sure to have us over for dinner when we came home for visits which was so sweet of them. Noam enjoyed talking medicine with Len and we were both inspired by their travel stories. They were both very special people. Our deepest sympathy.

I will always remember Mrs. Warres as the little lady who lent me money at CSB almost 45 years ago that allowed me to pay for medical school. The last time I saw her was at the 2016 CSB Student Award Ceremony where I asked her if I could get her something to drink with her food and she asked me to get her a beer!!! Mrs. Warres will always hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of the many others she helped!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband Barry’s family were very close with your parents over the years and I got to know Margie thru them. She was always so kind and sweet to me. She always had something nice to say and was oh so very bright and sharp. She lived a wonderful life and pushed herself to stay with us here as long as she could. I will fondly remember her. I won’t be attending her funeral because I am a snowbird in Florida now.
