Dear Lerner family, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of the matriarch of your family. We always marveled at how blessed she was to be able to have the incredible joy of being a great great grandmother. We will miss her ever presence in shul and the smile and contentment on her face. May her memory be for a blessing and stay within you always and forever.

To the Lerner family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. I am the Site Coordinator for the Kosher Kitchen at meals on Wheels. It was my great pleasure to work with Dena. She was the most loving and giving individual. A golden heart has stopped beating, and hard working heads are a rest now. She will be missed by many. May you find confront in your memories of her.

She was always an upbeat smiling person. Couldn't get enough Torah learning, coming to WIT classes. She should be a Malitza Tova for your family & klal Yisroel.

Having Dena as my dental patient for many years was a wonderful experience for me and my staff. Always more concerned about the well being of others, she exemplified the true meaning of Mensch. Her presence improved the lives of those around her.

Dena and I would chat in the JCC. She always had a very positive outlook. May her memory be a blessing and may the family emulate her wonderful ways.

Dear Rabbi Lerner

We heard the sad news about your Mum AH.

A few thoughts came to my mind. First I remember you telling me about bringing her to Israel to attend the simchas in the summer and how comforting is that.

Next is your example of Kibud Em. Not an easy task being the only son. You excelled at it in action like the mitzvah indicates, but also willingly and with love and gratefulness. An example to all

Lastly is the huge zechus that your Mum herself takes with her. She lived a long life and left behind a special son that together with his wife helps so many and בעה״ר an army of grand children great and great great grandchildren דורות ישרים all of them the right way.

I am sure that she will be a מליצת יושר to Am Israel and especially to the Lerner family and is praying in front of the כסא הכבוד for you that only see good things and all your wishes granted. Amen

A huge hug
