Dear Marlyn,
How very sorry I am to read of the loss of your sister, Betty.

When we suffer such a loss, many of us probe our memories for anything that will ease the pain and evoke a smile. For me, that was your wedding to Maynard 60+ years ago. Robin, who was your flower girl, made it known to all the guests that she had to use the bathroom. That was when Betty, who was your matron-of-honor, had to leave the bima for the made dash to the ladies room, Robin in tow. I hope your happy memories will bring you solace during this difficult time. BTW, I, too, lost my brother last June.

May Betty rest in peace.

Betty was our neighbor. Betty was always friendly and had a smile that invited you in as her neighbor and friend. I was lucky enough to play mahjongg with Betty. And what fun we had. When the game ended, our schmoozing began. Betty will be missed. May her memory be a blessing to all.

We have known Betty for almost 40 years. She was very close friend of the Luntz family. I always enjoyed talking to her. When we moved to High Stepper we were very happy that she lived here too. We will miss her. Rest in peace Betty.

Kappa Guild, Inc. regrets the passing of our member Betty Klein. Betty was a member of Kappa when it first began as the high school sorority Kappa Sigma Tau in the late 1940s. She recently rejoined Kappa Guild, Inc. and attended many of our lunch meetings and events. We just got to know her as the wonderful friendly lady that she was and she was so delighted and proud of our mission. We are saddened that she will no longer be a part of the organization that she was so happy to rejoin. Our deepest sympathy to her family. May her memory be for a blessing.
