Dear Skeets, Ann, Lynn and Peggy: We are so sorry to hear of Marcia's death. For me, even though not a member of the Kleiman family, she was, and always will be, my Aunt Marcia. I can't count the number of times Richard and I came to your house on Seven Mile Lane to swim. She was always so welcoming, kind, caring and interested in the thoughts and opinions of others, even the younger generation. We hope that her memory will be a source of strength and comfort to all of the Harris family in the days ahead. May she rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Marcia's passing. We are reminded of her daily when we look at one of our pictures from Her gallery"(maybe Collector's Gallery) scattered on the walls of our house. Although we did not deal directly knowing the Kleiman family from Dave on down was a source of pride. Marcia and Skeets were roll models for Betty and me. Harry and Hilda dearly loved all of you.

Dear Cousins

On behalf of the family of Merrill J Egorin, MD, we send our deepest sympathy on the passing of Marcia. She brightened our lives and especially the life our mother, Toba Rombro Egorin. The connections were deep and meaningful to the cousins of that generation.
Marcia kindness to all of us was wonderful May her memory be for blessing.

Sending my condolences to the entire family and friends that Marcia has touched with her warmth and love. We met as docents at the BMA and she instantly welcomed me with her friendship. Later, we would bump into each other at Betty Cooke’s store and other places and it was as if we were just together. She was such a warm and special person. She will be missed. May her memory be for a Blessing

To my Uncle Skeets, Lynn, Ann Louise and Peggy, Your Mom & Skeets were the glue that kept the family together, year after year, after year, after De & Pop died, with the wonderful annual Thanksgiving celebrations. We would gather from all over the country, and bring everyone up to date on our goings on. I am grateful for your generosity and kindness. The memories will last a lifetime.
With love always, Suzy

Dear Skeets,

We remember lots of good times. It was about fifty years ago that you and Marcia visited us in Cambridge, we went to some galleries, and we tried very hard to convince you not to by a work by Louise Nevelson.

Thanksgivings at your house have a special place in our hearts.

Our love to you and the whole family.

Nan and Richard

Marcia Kleiman was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of David Kleiman & Dorothy Rombro Kleiman. Shortly after Marcia graduated from Goucher College, she met S. Elliott Harris who was a medical student at the time. Their love, passion & respect for one another lasted their entire lives. They were inseparable and madly in love for their 73 years of marriage.

Marcia was a social worker, teacher and co-owned & operated a contemporary art gallery with her sister Toba Kleiman Rochberg for 10 years. Marcia was a volunteer at Sinai Hospital, Walter’s Art Gallery, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Democratic Party. Marcia’s passions were her husband “Skeets”, her three daughters, Ann Harris, Lynn Harris McCorkle ( Douglas), Peggy Harris Foster ( Chip), her grandchildren Jason Harris Melnick, Harrison McCorkle, Lindsay McCorkle & Colin McCorkle & her two great grandchildren Zoe & Elliott Melnick. Marcia loved the outdoors, skiing, hiking, picnicking, exploring new places, traveling, art, classical music, dance, theater and museums.
