We are so very sad over the passing of our dear sweet friend, Etta Kaufman. Her and Al were such a loving couple, and she would light up a room with her smile. She lived a very full and productive life. May her memory always be for a blessing.

Dear Al, Terry, Marc and Family,

Sorry to hear of Etta's passing. We were longtime friends and had many wonderful times together, especially in Aruba for quite a few years. Yes, she did work hard and played hard and in her 85 years she got a lot in. May all the wonderful memories you have of Etta be a comfort to all of you at this most difficult time. May her memory be but for a blessing and may she RIP.

While I don't know if I ever met Etta, I wonder if we are not related!!? I believe I am named after her father, Max, as my middle name is Michelle. My Hebrew/Yiddish name is Etta. My father, Ben Komitzsky, second son of Abraham Komitzsky, was Max's older brother! My grandfather, Abe, was the only Komitzsky not to change his name to Koman. I will see if I can attend her funeral this coming Sunday as I live in NH now.
I will grieve with you as family does.
I wonder if she was named after Edith Komitzsky as I was??
