Shirley was a real character- funny, strong and loving lady who positively shaped my life growing up and was always there for me. I loved visiting her house, next to my grandparents to see what good candy she had and playing cards with her after school. She always let me watch tv or use her phone when I was grounded- which was a lot! She will be greatly missed but will definitely live on in our hearts and memories of those who loved her too. She never met a person or a dog that she didn’t like... and enjoyed some of the best years of her life in Florida with her daughter and son in law. She loved her grand children and great grand children so much and was immensely proud of their accomplishments, she would religiously clear her calendar for the grandkid visits. She was always walking around her Florida neighborhood with dog biscuits or candy in her pocket. She was truly one of a kind! I miss her already! 😢❤️❤️

David and I have very fond memories of Shirley, including crab feasts in her backyard. Thoughts and prayers are with all.

Michel, Joanne, Norman,Rachel And Damien, I was so sorry to hear of “Aunt” Shirley’s passing. I was actually talking to my kids about her this weekend. Michel, I often think of the time spent at the house on Courtleigh and the fun relaxed atmosphere created by your parents. The hurt never goes away but the memories have a tendency to soften it. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
