Dear Family, I worked with Marty for many years before he retired and have enduring memories of him as a sweet-natured and thoughtful person. I'd have valued him as a member of my own family.

I was a reporter at the Community Times for years, covering local issues. And one of the most active groups that gave back to the community was the Friends of the Randallstown Library, with which Mr. Horowitz was active for many, many years. He was always an energetic supporter of the library, the community and the people in it. He always greeted me with a big smile when I covered their events, and always kept in touch and let us know what the group was up to. He was a lovely man. The community will miss his warm, generous, kind and uplifting spirit. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Dear Horowitz family,
Because of the many years I worked with Edith in the Dept. if Social Work at Sinai Hospital, I got to know Marty. What a lovely, kind, soft-spoken man. He will be greatly missed, as is your Mom.
Thinking of you at this time and sending heartfelt condolences.
