Larry, Diane, Linda, Edwin, Viviane, and Albert, you have all joined a group which no one wishes to ever join - the group of bereaved parents and grandparents. You will have some hard days ahead and some harder days. You will never "get over" the loss of your beloved Ezra but you will learn to live in the reality of a world without your son/grandson. You will be able to talk about him without crying. You will be able to smile and even laugh again. It will take time. Be patient with yourselves. Each person is different. Support each other. Larry, Diane, and Ronen,
I am so saddened to hear about Ezra's passing. While I was never fortunate to meet him in person, I've heard so many stories over the years of his kind and caring persona, his spirit of volunteerism and constant encouragement of others, and how loved he was in all of his AT communities. He will forever be loved and remembered by his Adventure Treks family. Our hearts are broken for you. Keeping the Seegull family in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Ezra was an incredible man. I always enjoyed seeing him and his radiant energy and smile. He had a way of making other people feel better about themselves, while also pushing them to do more. He will be missed and we will do all we can to honor his life by living ours more fully.

For the brief times I spent with Ezra, including playing soccer, I knew he was going to be somebody. And then today I realized, after listening to the greatest tribute friends and family can give someone, I realized he was always somebody.

I am devastated to hear this news. I had the joy of leading Ezra on a 21 day adventure trip in British Columbia in 2015. On a particularly long and grueling day of backpacking, Ezra made up songs and sung to the group at the top of his lungs the entire way up the mountain. I have a photo of the group holding a Canada flag on the summit (I'm looking at it now. Ezra is front and center, wearing his AT hat proudly and beaming with a smile). He gave us all the energy and encouragement to get there that day and I will never forget that. He was hilarious, kind, creative, and overflowing with love. Ezra was the kind of student that reminded me why I do what I do. He will be so deeply missed. My heart aches for his family and friends.

Ezra is one of the reasons I passed 11th grade math. He never let me go without studying, and would always check in on me right before a big test or quiz. I can hear him saying, "You know the stuff, so just put it on the paper. Do your best. It's all you can do."

I am so sorry for your loss. He was truly a genuine and kind soul and great to be around. I remember staying up way too late talking about anything and everything in our dorm room. He was always supportive and honest with me which I deeply appreciated. I was lucky to have spent my freshman year as his roommate. I'm gonna miss him.

I worked with Ezra at Camp Pinnacle this past summer the impact he made on the kids in the care he gave to each and every one of them was amazing he was a kind-hearted humble and very grateful for everyone around him. The kids looked up to him as an excellent role model. He was a great example of how to be a young leader and an amazing role model to the youth

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Ezra's passing. I was fortunate enough to get to spend two summers as an Adventure Treks instructor with Ezra in the Pacific NW and Colorado. (I was beyond excited when I found out I'd get to spend time with him for a second summer!) Even at 12/13 years old, it was clear that he was something special. I'll never forget having political discussions with him at 4 am as we trekked up Mt St Helens. I remember thinking, I'm having a more intelligent and informed conversation with a 12 year old than I do with my adult friends. He was also incredibly sweet and caring. Ezra looked out for others and wanted what was best for the group. He was a very loyal friend. And what a heart warming smile he had! It's clear that Ezra had a positive impact on many people. He will always have a special place in my heart.

Diane, Larry and Ronen,
Our hearts are broken. Ezra had a contagious smile and a beautiful soul. I remember when we went hiking at one of the local parks. He became our trail guide and made the experience so much more fun. When Matthew was becoming restless, he made it his mission to keep him entertained and content. We will miss him so much. May Ezra's memory be a blessing always. We love you all dearly. We are here for you and are holding you close to our hearts.

Dear Diane, Larry and Ronen, Aunt Vivi, Uncle Albert,Linda and Edwin,

Words cannot fully express the depth of our sorrow. Ezra was beyind special. Everyone who knew him was touched by his warmth and influenced by his kindness. He spread happiness everywhere and we were lucky to have him in our lives.
We remember the times we saw Ezra handsomely dressed up at various simchas and showing Daniel his cool dance moves. Daniel looked up to him and appreciated the time he spent with him even though he was much younger.
We will forever miss Ezra but we'll never forget his warm smile and friendly nature when our families got together. May his memory be a source of blessing for you and your entire family.
Sending healing prayers, comforting hugs and loving thoughts.
