I remember visiting Diane as my grandmother Carol Rosenberg and I would stroll down Ken Oak Road. She always had a ready smile and a kind word. I will miss her.

Diane was my pediatrician's nurse and I remember he care and kindness at an early age. Late in life she married my friend Jerry Markman and we began a nice social relationship with them as a couple. She was always so upbeat, kind and concerned about me and my family for going back at least 65 years. We continued to speak from time to time and I will miss her.

I came to know Diane when she joined the Board of Central Scholarship where I work. She was gracious and kind to everyone she met. As my own family grew, she always made the time to ask about children and grandchildren. After she was no longer so active with Central Scholarship we stayed in touch and I enjoyed our chats. I will miss her.

I met Diane when I joined Central Scholarship in 2001. Diane cared deeply about CS students and had many stories she shared from her years as a board member. When we held our first student awards ceremony at the Suburban Club in the mid-2000s, a large number of students showed up 90 minutes in advance of the program. We were not ready and overwhelmed, but Diane came to the rescue and was instrumental in helping us handle this challenge. Diane was a very positive person, showed interest in the personal lives of staff members, and almost always started a conversation with a joke. She had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss her.
