Dear Shirley and Family:
It only seems yesterday when I and the other young kids from Rosewood and Park Heights Avenues were playing softball and football with Heshie and Jerry on the back lot of Agudas Achim. Heshie was older than us, and we not only learned from him, but gave him a lot of respect as well, for he was a great leader and role model for us. In later years, I always enjoyed greeting him at
the Meyerhoff. He will be sorely missed.WY

Howard will sorely be missed at the J. People would always ask if he was here today. Then they would go over to where he held court and here his joke of the day. Then, he would listen to your joke and we would laugh together. His memory is a blessing.

Howard always had a smile and a joke for us. We loved Howard.

I told Tali about Howard and she was very sad. She loved Howard and always asked about him when she was with us. Howard always had a special relationship with kids. They all gravitated to him.

Family of Howard Cohen,
Sorry to learn of Howard's passing. I worked with him at NW Loan Company from 1959 to 1963 while I attended college. Howard was always congenial, treated everyon with respect, and had a wonderful sense of humor. I still recall his Plymouth Valient. Since I was driving a 1952 jalopy, Howard's car seemed like a limo to me. We laughed a lot, but he was very serious about his wotk and responsible in his position as head cashier at Northwestern. May your great memories of Howard sustain you.
