The Jewish Funeral

We know the importance of being able to attend a cherished friend or family member's funeral. Unfortunately life's circumstances can sometimes make this impossible. By offering the live webcasting of services in our chapels, friends and family can feel a part of the service while it is taking place, or up to 3 months after. No longer will health, travel, or other circumstances prevent loved ones from missing such an important ceremony.

To view a video of a service go to our home page. On the right hand side you will see a schedule of our upcoming services. Click on the name of service you would like to view. This will take you to the person's own funeral service page. Just to the right of the service information click on the button that says "VIDEO" to watch the service.

The idea of loved ones being able to witness the service live is such a mitzvah. My mom had extremely close family from Israel, Vermont, New Hampshire, California and New York, and all watched the funeral live. When I got home that night, everyone left a phone message about what a beautiful and moving service.

The streaming of the service to us back in New York was something we never could have anticipated, and meant so much to us. We were her closest relatives, but given the number of people we are caring for here, we could not leave. Being able to see the service was almost like being there physically and made all the difference.
