There are no definitive answers on how one person should feel, or how to cope with a life event so traumatic as death, but we want to help you find resources that will fit your needs. You are not alone.

Bereavement Groups

Sol Levinson & Bros has partnered with Jewish Community Services to provide a space for Bereavement Groups to meet during an eight week series, held several times a year. Held in both Pikesville and Columbia, this support group aims to help those who have suffered a loss, and help guide individuals through the grieving process. Marjorie Levinson Bereavement Library

The Marjorie Levinson Bereavement Libraries are open to any member of the public. Our libraries provide an extensive collection of reading materials covering topics such as:

the many stages of grief and loss
materials for parents and children
Jewish customs and mourning
loss of a spouse

Along with literature about grief and bereavement, we also have several books detailing Jewish history and the Holocaust.

Please feel free to come in to browse and borrow whatever you like, or contact our Director of Grief Support and Education, Greg King, directly for information regarding the books in our library.
