“I feel appreciated being a source of comfort and a friend to families during a difficult time.”
Adam Turk joined Sol Levinson in 2011 and serves as a licensed funeral director and mortician. He holds an A.A. in Mortuary Science and a B.A. in History. Inspired by a desire to be an active part of his own community and to positively impact others each day, Adam feels appreciated being a source of comfort and a friend to families during a difficult time. In his role, he provides meaningful funeral services from initial contact through the arrangement conference, the funeral service, and throughout the grieving process, while also helping implement ongoing training programs and managing funeral home telecommunications.
Adam finds genuine satisfaction in meeting with families and guiding them through a difficult situation, ensuring that every question is answered and every need is met. He strives to make a meaningful connection with each family he serves, taking a warm and friendly approach so they know they are in good hands. His keen attention to detail, personable demeanor, and deep understanding of Jewish funeral practices make him a trusted resource for the families and community he serves.
Adam grew up in Pikesville, attended Boys’ Latin School, and then studied at Ithaca College. Prior to coming to Levinson’s, Adam enjoyed a career in Project Management, where he was able to develop his skills in providing detail-oriented, exceptional service and multitasking in a fast-paced industry.
Adam now lives in Reisterstown with his wife and three children. Outside of the funeral home, he enjoys gaming, computers, and music, and has recorded and distributed two full-length albums, playing multiple instruments. Whether spending time with his family exploring parks and historic towns or connecting with the community he has always called home, Adam brings dedication, compassion, and authenticity to both his professional and personal life.
