Adria Brooks

Advance Planning Specialist & Funeral Director

“I am inspired by the compassion, knowledge, and professionalism that our staff provides to the community each day.”

Adria Brooks joined Sol Levinson in 2025, bringing a lifelong interest in funeral service inspired by her mother's career in the profession. Growing up in an environment where conversations about death and end-of-life planning were approached openly, Adria developed an early appreciation for the importance of compassionate care and meaningful remembrance. She earned her Mortuary Science degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and an Associate degree from Carroll Community College. She also holds Crematory Operator Certifications through the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) and the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).

As a Funeral Director and Advance Planning Specialist, Adria works closely with individuals and families to educate them about their options and the importance of making funeral arrangements in advance. She also serves as the primary Advance Planning Specialist for Eclipse Funerals, helping families explore traditional and alternative end-of-life options while making informed decisions that reflect their personal wishes and values. Adria believes that advance planning provides peace of mind, eases the burden on loved ones, and allows families to make thoughtful decisions without the added pressures of grief. She is especially passionate about the power of storytelling in funeral service, recognizing that shared memories and personal details help create meaningful tributes that truly reflect the lives being honored.

Born in Baltimore and raised between Howard and Carroll Counties, Adria enjoys reading psychological thrillers, crocheting, working on jigsaw puzzles, and visiting local breweries and wineries. She lives with her husband, Jake, their daughter, Clara, and their German Shepherd, Garmr. An avid plant enthusiast, Adria also enjoys horticulture and has a tradition of naming her plants, including her oldest, a Golden Pothos named Jeffrey. She treasures time spent cooking and baking cherished family recipes with her mother and sister, carrying on traditions that bring generations together.
