Ashley Kale joined Sol Levinson in 2021 and serves as a licensed Funeral Director and Mortician, primarily working in the Care Center. She earned her Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science and has been licensed since 2015. Ashley was drawn to the funeral profession by the opportunity to help families during one of the hardest times in their lives. In her role, she focuses on the preparation and care of loved ones, approaching each individual with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Ashley finds deep meaning in being able to help transform an unpleasant and painful event into one that is meaningful and positive for families. In the Care Center, she carefully prepares loved ones for services, ensuring they are presented with the utmost care so families can say their final goodbyes with peace and comfort. She also oversees OSHA standards and training, helping maintain a safe and professional environment for her colleagues. In addition to her work behind the scenes, Ashley assists in running funeral services and supervises burials at the cemetery. Guided by the belief that “the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra,” she is committed to going the extra mile in everything she does.
A Baltimore native who grew up in Parkville and now lives in Essex, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and their young son, Turner. Their family also includes Brier, a yellow lab named after the Greenbrier River in West Virginia. Outside of work, Ashley loves trying new foods, visiting breweries, camping in their camper, playing bingo, and cheering on the Ravens and Orioles. Whether at work or at home, she brings warmth, care, and a genuine commitment to the people around her.
