Douglas Carroll joined Sol Levinson in 2016 and serves as a Funeral Assistant. In his role, Doug supports the day-to-day operations of the funeral home, helping wherever he is needed to ensure services run smoothly and families are cared for with respect. He was drawn to the profession because it felt like meaningful work centered on helping people, and he takes pride in being part of a team that supports families during difficult times.
Doug focuses on being dependable and steady, assisting with services and handling tasks behind the scenes that allow everything to come together seamlessly. Known by his coworkers as a powerhouse, he is always looking for something that needs to be done and is quick to step in wherever help is needed. Whether it is early mornings, long days, or challenging weather, Doug is always willing to lend a hand without hesitation. His strong work ethic and readiness to serve make him an invaluable part of the team.
A lifelong Baltimore County resident, Doug comes from a close-knit family with two brothers, two sisters, and seven nieces and nephews. Outside of work, he enjoys walking his German Shepherd and keeping life simple. Though he jokingly describes himself as “kind of boring,” those who know him appreciate his reliability, quiet dedication, and down-to-earth nature.
