Justan Goldstein joined Sol Levinson in 2011 and serves as General Manager and Funeral Director. Inspired by the profound impact funeral service has on families during one of the most difficult times in their lives, Justan finds it incredibly rewarding to be there for people when they need it most. In his role, he oversees funeral operations, manages the Funeral Director team, and continually looks for new ideas to move the company forward. Focused on both excellence and innovation, he works each day to ensure operations run smoothly while improving the services offered to families.
Justan finds the most meaning in simply helping people through an incredibly difficult time. His approach is guided by the belief that if there is something the funeral home can do to ease a family’s burden, it should be done. Prior to his career at Levinson’s, he helped run his family’s business, where he developed many of the managerial skills he relies on today. He attended Park School and Drexel University before earning his Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science from CCBC.
A Baltimore native who grew up in Mt. Washington, Justan enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife, Jeanie, and their children, Talya and Zachary. As a family, they love being outdoors, traveling, and even tackling escape rooms together. He also stays active by playing lacrosse and is a member of Beth El Congregation. Whether at work or at home, Justan brings energy, dedication, and a commitment to serving both his team and the families who place their trust in Sol Levinson.
