“What I love most about my work is helping families have wonderful memories of their loved one.”
Keith Nagata joined Sol Levinson in 2013 and serves as a Funeral Director, guiding families through one of the most difficult times in their lives with compassion, patience, and respect. He is committed to helping families honor their loved ones with dignity while making the arrangement process as smooth and meaningful as possible. For Keith, the most meaningful part of his work is hearing from families that they felt comforted, cared for, and truly supported.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and an Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science. He also earned his POST Certificate and previously worked as a police officer before running his own construction company as a licensed Class A General Engineering and Class B General Building Contractor. His decision to enter funeral service was deeply personal. After experiencing a lack of compassion while arranging his own mother’s funeral decades ago, he felt called to ensure other families would be treated with the care and empathy they deserve.
Originally from Southern California, Keith has been married to his high school sweetheart for nine years, and together they have two sons and two daughters. They share their home with their lab mix, Armstrong. Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, shooting, and discovering hidden gem restaurants. He is also a devoted sports fan, cheering on the Miami Dolphins, New York Yankees, Golden State Warriors, and LA Kings.
Keith approaches every family with a simple guiding principle: every person deserves respect, honor, patience, and compassion in their time of loss.
