“I enjoy the people I work with and being a part of a business that gives back to the community.”
Kim joined Sol Levinson in 2013 and serves as Vice President, Accounting and Finance. She oversees the financial accounting of the company, including payables, receivables, insurance accounts, payroll, and benefits. Kim thrives in the fast-paced environment at Levinson’s and is known for her strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and steady leadership behind the scenes. Throughout her career, she has been drawn to industries that help people, finding meaning in work that supports families during significant moments in their lives.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a degree in accounting, Kim began her career in auditing before moving into corporate accounting roles within both the manufacturing and service industries. When she relocated to Baltimore from Philadelphia, she was seeking an organization where she could apply her expertise, continue to grow professionally, and contribute to a mission-driven team. She found that opportunity at Levinson’s, where she values being part of an organization that provides an essential and honorable service to families. Kim believes that helping ensure each funeral and burial is handled properly and with integrity plays an important role in bringing closure to those who are grieving.
Born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Kim now lives in Owings Mills with her husband, Charles, and their two daughters. She enjoys entertaining family and friends, watching movies at home, bowling, and cheering on both the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles. A parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Glyndon, Kim lives by two simple but powerful mottos: be nice to everyone and always do the right thing.
