“It is an honor to be a part of the Levinson legacy, providing support and comfort to families during their time of need.”
Miller Roberts III joined Sol Levinson in 2024 and serves in several roles, including Funeral Assistant, Office Administrator, and Part-Time Overnight Administrator. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, Miller brings a thoughtful and steady presence to the funeral home. Although he never imagined himself working in funeral service, he was drawn to the profession through a close friend and quickly found deep satisfaction in being available to help families at the very start of a difficult journey.
As an overnight administrator, Miller is often the reassuring voice and calm presence families encounter after regular business hours. He assists families with initial arrangements, supports visiting Shomers overnight when needed, and also works in the front office, where adaptability and attentiveness are key. Miller finds great meaning in being there for people during moments of uncertainty, recalling how even a physician once expressed not knowing what to do after the loss of a loved one. Experiences like that reinforce for him what an honor it is to work for an organization committed to treating every family with respect and care. With years of experience planning large-scale events, including the world’s largest robotics competition, Miller understands that funerals require careful coordination, compassion, and attention to detail.
Originally from Chicago, Miller enjoys gardening, kayaking, cooking, and spending time with his two beloved dogs, Ziggy and Sadie Mae, and cat, Froggy. He has lived aboard an aircraft carrier and even tail-hooked onto one at sea, experiences that surprise many who meet him. Guided by the philosophy of doing everything possible to help each family, Miller approaches his work with humility, service, and a genuine desire to make a difference when it matters most.
