Obituary
Abraham Kaplansky, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving sister, Betsy (Benedict) Leibowitz, adoring nephews, Avi (Shiri) Leibowitz, Elliot (Shlomit) Leibowitz; precious great-nieces and nephews, Michal Leibowitz, Nathan Leibowitz, Niv Leibowitz, Liam Leibowitz, and Ethan Leibowitz. He was predeceased by loving parents, Tauba and Isadore Kaplansky.
Abe was a loving, dedicated, and extremely caring son, brother, and uncle.
Services at Beth Isaac Adath Israel, 2125 North Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21222, on Friday, August 29th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Hatzalah of Baltimore, 2930 Taney Road, Baltimore, MD 21209. The family welcomes all to attend Shacharit on Sunday at 7:50am at Ner Tamid, 6214 Pimlico Road, Baltimore, MD 21209 in honor of Abe's memory. Breakfast will follow.
