Dr. Allen Kowarski

Dr. Allen Avinoam Kowarski, of North Bethesda, Maryland, passed away on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at the age of 97. He is survived by his loving children, Dr. David (Nina) Kowarski and Ruth (Charles C.) Cooke; and beloved grandchildren, Ilana Kowarski, Lisa Kowarski, Jonathan Kowarski, Lauren Cooke and Michelle Cooke. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Hanna Kowarski (nee Zas); his caring siblings, Shoshana (Raphael) Agmon and Eliyahu (Aviva) Kowarski; and his dear parents, Hanoch and Sima Kowarski.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Interment Har Sinai - Garrison Forest Road. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Jewish charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning at Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre, 10101 Grand Central Ave, Owings Mills, MD 21117, immediately following interment. There will be a shiva service at 4pm on Wednesday.
