Andrew "Andy" Katz

Andrew "Andy" Ellis Katz, of Owings Mills, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Katz (nee Gold); loving sons, Seth Katz (Neema Kumar) and Jonathan (Jaime) Katz; devoted sister, Sandra Olszewski (David Anshel); cherished grandchildren, Camden Katz, Logan Katz, and Nora Katz; caring mother-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen Gold and Mitchell (Leslee) Gold; and many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear brother-in-law, Joseph Olszewski; cherished father-in-law, Dr. Armand Gold; and adoring parents, Esther Katz and Norbert Katz.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Interment Hebrew Young Men's Cemetery. Please omit flowers. The family will be in mourning at 9 Hunters Horn Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117 on Sunday following interment until 4:00 PM and will continue from 6:00-8:00 PM. Shiva will continue on Monday from 1:00-4:00 PM and from 6:00-8:00 PM. Shiva services will take place each evening, please check back for updated service timing.
