Obituary
Beryle Goverman, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at the age of 85. She is survived by her beloved brothers, Larry Yolken and H. Barry Yolken Young; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Goverman; and dear parents, Sidney and Ruth Yolken.
Beryle spent much of her life in the classroom, teaching in Baltimore County and leaving her mark through a career devoted to children and learning. After her years in education, she and Jeffrey began a new chapter together in Florida, where they created a peaceful life filled with community, companionship, and the comfort of a home they truly made their own.
Faith and fellowship were an important part of that life. Beryle and Jeffey were members of Temple Israel in West Palm Beach, and Beryle found an especially meaningful place within the Temple’s Sisterhood. She valued the friendships and sense of belonging she found there.
Her years in Florida with Jeffrey were gentle ones. They built a life side by side, surrounded by familiar faces, shared routines, and the quiet happiness that comes from simply being together.
