Daniel W. Crone, III

Daniel W. Crone, III, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Crone (nee Pimes); devoted children, Dr. Sylvia Nan Crone Murphy (Dr. Matthew W. Murphy) and Daryl (Julie) Crone; and his adored grandchildren, Samantha Murphy, Ellyson Murphy, and Zachary, Jacob, and Max Crone. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip K. Crone and his parents, Sylvia Katz Crone and Daniel W. Crone, Jr.

Dan was a proud graduate of the Park School Class of 1964 and attended the University of Miami. He met his beloved wife, Suzanne, at a Colts game in 1967 and they enjoyed travelling the world together for over 57 years.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, July 28th, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Kimmel Cancer Fund at Johns Hopkins University. The family will be in mourning at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, 7401 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208, immediately following interment, with a service Monday evening at 5pm and receiving Tuesday, between 1pm and 4pm.
