Devera Ellison (Lissy)

Devera (Dee) Ellison (nee Lissy) of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7 at the age of 92. She is survived by her children Lar Ellison and Marc (Arlene) Ellison; her treasured grandchildren, David (Petya) Ellison, Lauren (Myles) Poster and Rebecca (Adam) Rudel; her brother and sister in law Owen (Sue) Lissy and her beloved great grandchildren Elizabeth, Noah, Benjamin, Ethan and Jack. Devera was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Ellison, and her dear parents, Rose and Irving Lissy.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, March 9th, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Interment Mikro Kodesh Beth Israel Cemetery - 6700 Bowleys Lane. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions in Devera’s memory be made to Chizuk Amuno Goldsmith Early Childhood Center. The family will be in mourning at 8431 Meadowsweet Road, Pikesville, MD 21208.
