Diane H. Schwartzman

Diane H. Schwartzman (nee Merican), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at the age of 73. She is survived by her loving husband, Gil Schwartzman; devoted children, Louis Schwartzman (Jess Plevy) and Beth Schwartzman Thorp; beloved sister, Linda Merican; adored grandchildren, Sammy Thorp, Elijah Thorp, Alexandra Schwartzman, Eleanor Schwartzman, Cooper Plunkett, and Henry Plunkett. She was predeceased by her dear parents, Elinor and Arthur Merican.

Diane was a loving, vivacious and outgoing person who lived life to the fullest. She was a dedicated cook, a lover of animals and enjoyed travelling and experiencing new things. Her ability to laugh at the ups and downs of life was a defining trait. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her nieces and nephews also. Her pets were important to her. Above all, she valued her family immensely.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 1:30 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society or ASPCA. The family will be in mourning at 301 Bonnie Meadow Circle, Reisterstown, MD 21136, services Tuesday and Wednesday at 7. Family will accept visitors on Wednesday from 1pm to 5:30 pm.
