Obituary

Eric Alan Greenberg, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, at the age of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Theresa Greenberg (nee Dettmer); devoted children, Seth Greenberg (Erin Carrick) and Faith (Andrew) Martin; adored grandchildren, Whitaker Martin, Hazel Greenberg and Ronin Greenberg; and dear cousin, Darren Fradin. Eric was predeceased by his loving mother, Irene Greenberg.

Eric was a devoted family man, and there was nothing in his life more important to him than the people he loved. He and Theresa adored one another immensely, and Eric took great pride in caring for her and making sure everything was taken care of. His family often joked that his greatest hobby was simply his family. When his grandchildren were born, it breathed new life into him, bringing back the same joy and excitement he had experienced when his own children were born. He cherished being a grandfather and visited his grandchildren as often as he could, never needing much of a reason beyond wanting to spend time with them.

Eric was also an incredibly hard worker, perhaps even a bit of a workaholic, with a brilliant, practical mind. He had a remarkable ability to look at something, understand how it worked, and simply figure it out. When he did make time to get away, he loved fishing, especially the fishing trips he took with his family. Above all, though, Eric found his greatest happiness in his family, and the love he had for them, and they for him, was at the center of his life.
