Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of a deeply cherished mother and grandmother, Esther Pearlman (nee Spigel), of Delray Beach, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at the age of 93. She devoted her life to loving and caring for others, leading by quiet example with kindness, selflessness, and unwavering generosity.

Esther shared an extraordinary love story with her beloved husband of 64 years, David Pearlman, until his passing in 2016. Their bond was one of tender devotion—they held hands through life’s joys and challenges, loved each other fiercely, and were a beautiful example of enduring love and partnership.

Her family was the center of her world, and she expressed her love in countless ways—through home-cooked meals, welcoming anyone who needed a place to celebrate the holidays, and creating a home where everyone felt a sense of love and belonging. She found joy in singing, dancing, cooking, playing card games, shopping, and sharing lunches with family and friends. Her laughter, warmth, and nurturing spirit brought happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Deeply devoted to her Jewish faith and traditions, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, grace, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire generations to come.

She is survived by her loving children, Ellen (Wayne) Zuskin, Deena (Barry) Weisberg, Victor (Eva) Pearlman, and Philip (Michelle) Pearlman; her loving grandchildren, Morey Zuskin, Seth (Dana) Zuskin, Jennifer (Michael) Weisberg Cohen, Joshua Matthew, Anna Rose, and Jeremy Noah Pearlman and Aaron Jacob and Max Parker Pearlman; treasured great-grandchildren Ellie, Sebastian, Sadie, and Jack Zuskin; her cherished brother, David Spigel; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Mayer Savetman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who were close and dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David Pearlman; her daughter, Lynn Pearlman; her mother, Ida Spigel; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William and Patricia Pearlman, and Monya and Joseph Bearman.

She was loved beyond measure, and her loss is immeasurable. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories she created and in the everlasting love she leaves behind.

Services will be held at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at 9:30 am. Interment at Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
