Faina Pitakova

Faina Pitavkova, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving children, Sergey Petakov and Stella (Alexander) Shindelman; cherished grandchildren, Artem (Olga) Petakov, Natalia (Denis) Khazan, and Bradley (Karen) Shindelman; and treasured great-grandchildren, Roman and Anton Petakov, Ilan and Dalia Khazan, and Noah Shindelman. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Miron Finarsky; and her loving parents, Esfir and Samuel Finarsky.

Service will be held at Sol Levinson's Chapel on Friday, October 30th, at 1:00 PM. Interment at Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
