Geraldine Schehr

Geraldine Gloria Schehr (nee Lewis), of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, at the age of 93. She is survived by her loving children, Curtis Schehr (Lesley Turner), Douglas (Susan) Schehr, Diane (Douglas) Strahan; adoring grandchildren, Jonathan Schehr (Rebecca Bandler), Melanie (Thomas) Eliason, Vanessa Strahan, and Justin (Pauline) Strahan; and cherished great granddaughter, Eden Schehr. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard Schehr; dear brother, Gary (Diane) Lewis; and devoted parents, Rose and Ira Lewis.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, September 10th, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Interment Arlington Chizuk Amuno Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Sibley Hospital Foundation, 5255 Loughboro Road NW, Washington, DC 20016 or to Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Georgetown University Gift Processing, Department Number 0734, Washington, DC 20073-0734. The family will be in mourning at Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah Hebrew Congregation (MMAE), 7000 Rockland Hills Dr, Baltimore, MD 21209, on Thursday following the interment until 5:30pm then continuing at 6:30pm until 8pm with an evening service at 7pm.
