Helena G. Scheer

Helena G. Scheer (nee Levitt), of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, August 24th, 2025, at the age of 82. She is survived by her children, Nancy Scheer and Daniel (Diana) Scheer; grandchildren, Rachel Penna-Scheer, Maya Penna-Scheer (Fiancé, Daniel Christie), and Nathan Scheer; and sister-in-law, Ellen Levitt; and best friend of 79 years, Dale Grossblatt. She was predeceased by her husband, George S. Scheer; brother, Neil T. Levitt; and parents, Henry and Cecilia Levitt.

Services at Beth El Memorial Park, 9801 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning at 2 Pomona East, #309, Pikesville, MD 21208, Tuesday from 3pm until 6pm with a Shiva service at 6:00 PM. Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm until 7pm.
