Helene Carol Blum

Helene Carol Blum (nee Englander), passed away quietly on Friday, July 24th, 2026, in Baltimore, at the age of 98. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Robin Carol Blum, loving son, Murray Mark (Kelley Finn) Blum; and adored grandson, Jordan Matthew Blum. She was predeceased by her loyal husband of 53 years, Monte M. Blum; caring brother, Kenneth Englander; and dear parents, Jacob and Theresa Englander, of Brooklyn, New York.

With a sparkle in her eye and a fondness for wearing pink, Helene devoted her life to her family. She loved her little cat Smokey. She lovingly raised her two children and faithfully cared for her husband, Monte, whose life was forever changed by severe injuries sustained during World War II. Together, they found happiness in traveling, cherishing each journey, and the fun memories they created along the way.

Services at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, promptly at 10:00 am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Hatzalah. The family will be in mourning at 3021 Fallstaff Road, Unit #108, Baltimore, MD, after interment, beginning at 12 pm with a service at 7:30 pm.
