Obituary

Jamie Lynn Krusinsky, of Laurel, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at the age of 45. She is survived by her beloved wife, Jennifer Nan Fried; her adored daughters, Maya Louise Krusinsky-Fried and Sadie Jacqueline Krusinsky-Fried; her mother, Joann Krusinsky; her brother, Jeff Krusinsky (Janelle Taylor); her best friend, Heidi Glisson; her in-laws, Sherrie and Kevin Fried; her brother-in-law, Ryan Fried (Katie Gill); and her cherished nieces, Roosevelt Fried and Winona Fried, as well as countless friends and loving family.

Jamie was one of a kind. She was dedicated, loving, talented, and strong. She humbly possessed extraordinary abilities, whether playing or coaching softball, creating art, or knowing how to fix just about everything. She was an accomplished and highly respected math teacher and coach in Montgomery County Public Schools with legions of student alumni who admired her. No matter what she was doing or where she went she always made multitudes of friends.

Jamie was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Boston Red Sox, demonstrating her ability for patience. Jamie was also known for her exceptional organizational skills, her ability to plan and manage anything, and her impressive collections of sneakers and hats.

Above all, Jamie’s life was defined by her love for her family, her devotion to her wife and children, and her ability to bring warmth, humor, and steadiness to the people around her.
