Janet Sefret

Janet Ruth Sefret, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 7, 2026 at the age of 91. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jerome Sefret, loving son Steve Sefret (Carol) and her adoring grandchildren Ashley Pinto (Brandon), Sara Sefret and Myles Sefret. She was predeceased by her loving parents Rose and Leon Shapiro, her loving son Michael Sefret and her sisters Elsie Swerbilow and Marsha Abrams. The family wants to thank the wonderful caregivers at Autumn Ridge for the loving attention they gave to Janet during her time there. Janet will be remembered lovingly as a woman of valor.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Forband Cemetery - Rosedale. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Hatzalah of Baltimore, 2930 Taney Road, Baltimore, MD 21209. The family will be in mourning at North Oaks Senior Living, Pikesville, Maryland 21208, immediately following interment, with a service at 6:30 pm. Will continue receiving guests on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, with a service at 6:30 pm.
