A true Baltimore sports fan through and through, he rooted faithfully for the Colts, Ravens, and Orioles throughout his life. Jay was known for his outgoing nature, jovial spirit, and the way he struck up conversation with just about anyone. He was a loyal and devoted husband, father, and provider—someone who quietly loved dogs, always looked for the best in people, and worked hard at every job he had. He was well-liked, deeply respected and respectful, a true gentleman, and genuinely interested in others. Whether through a warm conversation or a kind gesture, Jay always tried to make someone smile. He will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
