Jeff was a local business leader in Columbia where he helped to found Sentinel Title Corporation, which expanded to offices across Maryland. He was passionate about helping local families become homeowners.
Jeff was deeply connected to his family, his community, and the many things that brought him joy. He had a love of genealogy and enjoyed exploring the stories and connections that tied generations together. Jeff experienced the world through the beauty of music. A talented singer and guitar player, Jeff was a wonderful song leader who had a gift for bringing people together through music. He shared that love as a member of Shir Isaiah, Temple Isaiah’s choir.
A loyal Maryland sports fan, Jeff proudly rooted for the Terps, Orioles, and Washington Commanders, going back to their Redskins days.
Jeff’s commitment to his community was reflected in the many organizations to which he gave his time and energy. He served on the boards of Temple Isaiah, the Jewish Federation of Howard County, and the Jewish Museum of Maryland, and was involved with the Coalition Opposed to Violence and Extremism (COVE) and the Howard County Public School System Equity Council. Through his music, leadership, and service, Jeff found many ways to participate in and give back to the communities that mattered to him.
