Obituary
Joyce Levy-Levin, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the age of 73.
Joyce was a 20-year liver transplant recipient survivor, and an active and beloved member of the Legacy transplant and Hopewell community. Joyce's exuberance and passion for life enabled her to courageously continue thriving even during challenging times.
Joyce was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms and believed that every moment was meant to be experienced with great joy. In her younger years, she loved spending time with friends in Atlantic City, and the ocean was always her happy place.
Joyce was a travel agent by profession, and travel was as much her passion as it was her career. If you were lucky enough to catch her on the phone, one of her favorite questions was always, "Where are we going next?" She loved a good concert, too, and was always ready to go when one was nearby.
Joyce experienced life entirely on her own terms, and she brought those around her endless laughter and sheer joy. She will be deeply missed by a large village of family and friends.
Joyce is survived by her beloved brother, Larry Levy, and sister-in-law, Karen Levy; her niece, Jaime Levy; and her nephew, Scott Levy; along with many cherished friends.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday (9/17) and Friday (9/18) from 2-5 p.m. at 2507 Smith Avenue.
