Judy Kushner

Judith Kushner (nee Stern), of Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at the age of 84. She is survived by her loving children, David (Robin) Kushner, and Lori (Howard) Levitas; and caring grandchildren, Eric Levitas, Lindsay Kushner, Benjamin Kushner, and Jacob Kushner. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry Kushner; and devoted parents, Esther Kaufman, and Dave Kaufman.

Judy built her life around family and hard work. She and her husband Larry shared 35 years of a strong, loving, and supportive marriage. In 1977, they started their plumbing business, working side by side until Larry’s passing in 1996. Judy then continued running the business with her son, David, remaining active in it until her passing. She valued the chance to work with family, talk with customers, and help them find practical solutions to their plumbing needs. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Mahjong and Rummy Q with her friends and her daughter, Lori. She loved spending time with her grandkids, taking them shopping when she could. Most of all, Judith cared deeply for her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the genuine gratitude she showed to everyone in her life. May her memory be a blessing always.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, at 12:30 pm. Interment Swinicher Woliner Benevolent Association Cemetery on Bowleys Lane. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Central Scholarship with funds directed to the Larry Kushner Scholarship Fund, online at central-scholarship.org, or to Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company, online at pvfd32.org. The family will be in mourning at 12513 Ivy Mill Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136, immediately following interment on Sunday, continuing Monday and Tuesday with services each evening at 7 pm.
