Obituary
Kenneth Kraus, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at the age of 83. He is survived by his devoted wife, Andrea Kraus (nee Francus); loving children, Nicholas Kraus, Amanda Kraus (Michael Smith), Matthew (Hallie) Kraus and Tyler (Lauren) Kraus; caring sister, Cheryl Kraus; cherished grandchildren, Wyatt Kotuk, Beatrice Kotuk, Veronica Kraus, Kieran Kraus, and Owen Kraus; and beloved and most loyal furry companion, Winston. He was predeceased by his loving brothers, Donald Kraus and Douglas Kraus; and dear parents, Francis and Dolores Kraus.
Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose love for his family defined his life. Exceptionally bright and endlessly curious, he began college at just 16 and went on to build a distinguished career as a real estate attorney, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Ken was generous with his time, his wisdom, and his heart, and he took deep pleasure in life’s quiet joys, being with his family, swimming in the ocean, getting lost in a good book, and never passing up a big bowl of ice cream.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at 10:30 am. Interment Beth El Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to USA Warrior Stories, PO Box 2755, East Hampton, NY 11937 or United States Rowing Association, PO Box 95000, Philadelphia, PA 19195. The family will be in mourning at the home of Howard and Esther Epstein, 7 Sherborne Court, Baltimore, MD 21209, immediately following interment until 5:00 PM.
