Lev Fonkats

In Loving memory of Lev Samuelovich Fonkats. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lev Fonkats. He peacefully transitioned from this life on November 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Lev is preceded in death by his wife Tamara and son Vladlen. Lev is lovingly remembered by his family: sister Raya, nieces Mira and Luba, and by Artur's family Lisbeth, Emily, Jessica and Samuel. Lev was a man of old principles with a great sense of humor, strong hands, who never avoided the hard work necessary in life. He loved nature and was a walking encyclopedia of the oldies classical movies. Generous and emotional, unpredictable and loyal to the clan of Fon-Kats/Lokshin. He remembered all family birthdays and would call or come to visit first thing in the morning. Everyone lucky enough to have met Lev will miss him forever.
